Creative Ministries Performing Arts Center (CM PAC) continues their fantastic season with the Tony Award winning musical Anything Goes. Patrick Grossman wonderfully directs (and does the sets and choreographs) the Cole Porter classic running through May 19th at the Oakdale, Long Island venue.
Director/producer April James has secured the rights and gathered a high-powered cast for a special presentation of the classic Odets melodrama, Awake and Sing! on April 21, 2013. The play, set in The Bronx during the depression, centers on the conflicts of an impoverished Jewish family. The parents manipulate the children to their own ends while the children fight to gain control of their dreams. The play's message still comes across loud and clear during the current economic upheaval whose ramifications have been called hauntingly similar to those of the Great Depression.

Omigod, you guys! The most fashionable lawyer is currently holding court at Creative Ministries Performing Arts Center (CM PAC) in Oakdale, Long Island. Legally Blonde, The Musical opened this past weekend, complete with pink carpet arrivals, to a very talented cast and wonderfully enthusiastic audience.

Steve Steiner, Producing Artistic Director of the Ocean Professional Theatre Company, Ocean County's newest professional theatre has formed partnerships with local restaurants. "HARRY & EDDIE: The Birth of Israel", Mark Weston's new drama about the creation of Israel, at off-Broadway's Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street, announced a special Chanukah offering for the entire month of December.
HARRY & EDDIE: The Birth of Israel', which opened off-Broadway at St. Luke's Theatre on September 8th, will move to Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street, beginning performances Wednesday, October 12th at 2 PM.
