Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Kate Shindle head the cast of the world premiere musical REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW OF RAGNAR AGNARSSON FURNITURE PAINTER, with book, music & lyrics by Ívar Pall Jonsson, based on a story by Ívar and Gunnlaugur Jonsson. Connecticut's theater season heats up during the summer with regular and summer series offerings. Some of the top picks I am looking forward to:

A 1930's tap dance spectacular that burst on to the New York Stage in 2010 as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Fingers & Toes opens the summer season at the Ivoryton Playhouse. A brand new work from Logan Medland, this mighty, mini musical combines snappy dialogue, catchy tunes and some of the fanciest dancing you'll see this year - high-energy tap routines that evoke the magic of the Fred Astaire - Ginger Rogers era. A deliriously delightful and genuinely funny love-letter to the old-fashioned backstage musical.

The Jersey Boys have moved south - at least in Las Vegas, that is. The show has moved from the Palazzo Resort Hotel in Las Vegas a few blocks south to Paris Las Vegas, taking up residence in the theater the hotel refurbished when Barry Manilow opened there in March 2010.

To celebrate the holidays, members of the award-winning Jersey Boys casts around the globe have come together to record a selection of Christmas classics in the style of The Four Seasons. This marks the first time that a Broadway show has released a holiday album.

David Copperfield, world-renowned illusionist, attended Jersey Boys at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel Casino on Friday, August 19. Following the performance, Copperfield went backstage to meet and take a photo with the cast. Check out a photo from the event below!
