Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) today announces the cast for the new holiday classic, Elf The Musical, running Dec. 6 - 22 at Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall.

A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, the new Broadway musical will perform live on FOX5's 'Good Day New York' tomorrow morning,November 14 between 9-10am. 'Good Day New York' airs from 9:00-10:00am EST on channel 5. A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN is now playing at the Lyceum Theatre (149 W. 45th Street).

Primary Stages held their annual Gala last night, November 11, at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The event honored Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang and President of the General Counsel at Dramatists Play Service, Stephen Sultan. The evening featured performances by Rachel deBenedet (Catch Me If You Can, Addams Family), Alan Paul (Grease, Oliver!, Manhattan Transfer), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Adrift in Macao), and Alton F. A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, the new Broadway musical that opened to rave reviews for star Mary Bridget Davies, will be featured on VH1's 'Big Morning Buzz Live' tomorrow morning, November 5 between 10-11am. Tune in to see Davies perform a live in-studio acoustic version of Janis' hit 'Me and Bobby McGee.'

A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, the new Broadway musical that opened earlier this month to rave reviews for star Mary Bridget Davies, will be featured on VH1's "Top 20 Video Countdown" this weekend on channel 19 (check local listings). Producers Joey Parnes and Larry Hirschhorn have announced that Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which last night won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, will again extend its premiere Broadway engagement at the Golden Theatre. With this second and final extension, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will now end its run Sunday, August 25 (it was originally scheduled to end its run on Sunday, June 30). The critically lauded play has swept the awards circuit this year, having now been named Best Play by every major theatrical awards organization including the aforementioned Tony Awards, the New York Drama Critics' Circle, the Drama Desk, the Drama League, and the Outer Critics Circle. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike began performances on Tuesday, March 5 and opened on Thursday, March 14.
