The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts has two stages, but most people are only familiar with Sarofim Hall. Nestled on the corner of Rusk and Bagby is the gorgeous and intimate Zilkha Hall, which seats 500. The space was originally planned as a black box theater, and Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) current Artistic Director, Bruce Lumpkin, has great plans for TUTS to utilize the space as such. Dixie Longate, star of Dixie's Tupperware Party, will be touring Milwaukee landmarks during her press tour on Wednesday, May 15 with transportation by Bell Ambulance. During her tour, she will be making a special stop at the Milwaukee Public Market and La Perla. Dixie will make her stop at the Milwaukee Public Market, 400 North Water Street, at11:30 am and at La Perla, 734 South 5th Street, at 12:00 pm on the 15th. During this time, she will be taking photos with patrons and various Milwaukee landmarks. This tour will kick off her engagement at the Marcus Center's Vogel Hall that runs May 14-26.
