Monica Piper's acclaimed off-Broadway comedy NOT THAT JEWISH, will play its final performance this Sunday, April 30.

Just yesterday, Monica Piper, star and creator of Not That Jewish, and company members celebrated their 200th performance at New World Stages prior to concluding at the end of this month. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the festivities below!

Monica Piper's acclaimed off-Broadway comedy NOT THAT JEWISH, will play its final performance on Sunday, April 30. NOT THAT JEWISH began performances at New World Stages October 6, 2016, prior to an official opening on October 23, 2016. When NOT THAT JEWISH takes its final curtain call at New World Stages, the production will have played a total of 210 performances (including 17 previews). 

The Drama League has announced the 2017 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Scroll down for the full list of nominees!

JUNKYARD DOG PRODUCTIONS and THE MUSICAL COMPANY celebrated the release of the original Broadway cast recording of Come From Away with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble. Creators Irene Sankoff and David Hein will be joined by the Come From Away cast: Petrina Bromley, Geno Carr, Jenn Colella, Joel Hatch, Rodney Hicks, Kendra Kassebaum, Tony Award nominee Chad Kimball, Lee MacDougall, Caesar Samayoa, Q. As previously announced, Monica Piper will play her final performance in the acclaimed off-Broadway comedy Not That Jewish, Sunday, April 30.

The Canadian-written new musical COME FROM AWAY, a sold-out smash hit in Toronto and newly opened to great reviews and sold-out houses on Broadway, is set to take Winnipeg by storm, filling in the much-anticipated Royal MTC Mainstage Slot Three for the 2017/18 season.

A friendly reminder! Sweat, the acclaimed new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whoriskey will open on Broadway this Sunday, March 26, at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street).

The producers of the hit show Not That Jewish have launched an IndieGogo campaign to provide free theater tickets to Jewish Community Centers in the New York metropolitan area, who've been the target of increased bigotry, antisemitism and threats of violence.

Producers Martin Platt and David Elliott with Mary Cossette, Jamie deRoy, Riki Kane Larimer, Richard Winkler, and Mike Blank, have announced the limited engagement of the critically acclaimed New York premiere of Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose, the new play written by and starring Ed Dixon (Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables) with direction by Eric Schaeffer (Follies, Million Dollar Quartet) will conclude its Off-Broadway run on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at The Loft at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues) where performances began January 25, 2017. At closing, Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose will have played 8 preview and 54 regular performances. A national tour is planned for later this summer.

The searing new play Sweat begins previews on Broadway tomorrow Saturday, March 4 at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). Following a sold out, critically acclaimed engagement at New York's Public Theater, Sweat, the new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whoriskey will officially open on Broadway on March 26, 2017.

The new Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY has announced that a limited number of $38 general rush tickets (including the $2 facility fee) will be available at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre box office (236 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.
