Beginning Monday, April 13, American Ballet Theatre will launch ABTKids Daily, a new online resource with digital content to help families and educators build their virtual classrooms during this time of distance learning. The ABTKids Daily page on the Company's website will be updated every Monday morning with a week's worth of curriculum.
A special night filled with ballet at Bryant Park, featuring a master class led by American Ballet Theatre's Cynthia Harvey and Richard Toda, a discussion with ABT Principal Dancers Sarah Lane and Herman Cornejo, and performances with CONTINUUM Contemporary/Ballet, Doug Baum & Artists, and Da' Von Doane & the Artists of the Shift!
The Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division presents American Ballet Theatre Day 2014. On Sunday, March 23, American Ballet Theatre (ABT) teaching artists and directors will lead a day of FREE master classes and workshops for students of all ages, dance educators, and parents at Rutgers University. The day will culminate with an on-campus performance by the ABT Studio Company. The Studio Company consists of 14 of the most talented and promising young dancers in the country, who typically go on to dance with ABT and other world- renowned companies.
Final performances for American Ballet Theatre's New York Summer Intensive Program are scheduled for today, July 26, 2013 at 12 P.M. and 4 P.M. at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, New York. The performances mark the conclusion of ABT's 18th annual New York Summer Intensive, a five-week training program for dancers ages 12 to 22.
