TACT has announced the 2016-17 season will kick off with a rare NY revival of Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops To Conquer, a fully mounted production seen in TACT's 2015-'16 Salon Series.  Performances at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) will begin Tuesday October 4th for a strictly limited engagement through November 5th.

If you've ever walked into a service at a megachurch, then you know what's at stake for Pastor Paul in THE CHRISTIANS. The play is daring and bold. It shows us the identity crisis our society has been having when it comes to ideology, and how even the well-intentioned allow this to tear our relationships asunder instead of bringing us closer. The play was enjoyable and filled with suspense and dramatic tension. However, the topic of this play seems to supersede the play itself. My connection to the characters in combination with the quick ending left me wanting to see more.

The world premiere production of Rebecca Gilman's powerful and arresting "Luna Gale" begins previews November 23, opens December 2 and continues through December 21, 2014, at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre. Directed by Robert Falls, the complete original cast continues with the production, including Jordan Baker, Reyna de Courcy, Melissa Duprey, Mary Beth Fisher, Erik Hellman, Colin Sphar and Richard Thieriot.

Fight or Flight's co-artistic directors John Behlmann, Steve Coles Hughes and Eileen Little announce three presentations of their latest trapeze, storytelling extravaganza, which tosses the most famous great white shark in cinema history into the air and into the realm of high-flying parody. All three performances will be at The Muse Brooklyn aerial theater located in Williamsburg at 32 S 1st St. Performances are tonight, July 22nd at 8pm, July 23rd at 8pm and July 24th at 10pm.

The recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New American Plays Award, Luna Gale is part of the Goodman's "Great Women at Play" subscription package, featuring works written and/or directed by Rachel Rockwell (Brigadoon), Joanie Schultz (Venus in Fur), Jessica Thebus, Tracey Scott Wilson (Buzzer) and Mary Zimmerman (The White Snake). Rehearsals are set to begin today, October 8th for THE PREACHER AND THE SHRINK, a new play by Merle Good starringBroadway favorite Dee Hoty. Performances will begin November 2nd, with the official Opening Night on Monday, November 18th at 7 PM at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street. The limited engagement is scheduled to run through January 4th. Under the direction of Steven Yuhasz, THE PREACHER AND THE SHRINK will also feature Tom Galantich (Mamma Mia!, City of Angels, Into the Woods), Richard Thieriot (Clybourne Park), Adria Vitlar (The Columnist),and Nicholas Urda (Love's Labour's Lost).
