Craig Pearce, the writer behind MOULIN ROUGE, is set to adapt Kimberly Cutter's best-selling novel THE MAID for FremantleMedia, The Hollywood Reporter announced this morning. The production company has yet to pitch the international series to any networks.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the nominees for the 18th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. The winners will be announced live at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards ceremony on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. The show will broadcast live on The CW Network at 8:00 PM ET/PT.

On Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 12:30 p.m., First Stage will dedicate a sculpture by Milwaukee artist Richard Taylor at the heart of First Stage - the grounds of the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, located at 325 W. Walnut Street and Martin Luther King Drive. The dedication event is open to the public.

A season of high drama and razor-sharp comedy takes to the stage this autumn as Sheffield Theatres unveils its new season from September 2012 - January 2013. The season opens with Sheffield Theatres' Artistic Director Daniel Evans directing a new production of Shakespeare's Macbeth, followed by the regional premiere of Penelope Skinner's The Village Bike and a major revival of Shelagh Delaney's seminal work, A Taste of Honey. Other highlights include the world premiere of DC Moore's latest play Straight, and a major revival of the classic musical My Fair Lady at Christmas.

On the heels of receiving eight Daytime Emmy(R) Award nominations (with two wins) in its first television season since re-branding, The Hub, a television destination for kids and their families, has been honored by The Parents' Choice Foundation with three 2011 Parents' Choice Awards for quality programming. The Hub's series 'Family Game Night,' 'R.L.
