Yale Rep Theater Presents NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND 3/20-4/11

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents the world premiere of Fyodor Dostoevsky's NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND, adapted by Bill Camp and Robert Woodruff, based on a translation by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky, March 20-April 11 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street, at York Street). Opening night is Thursday, March 26.

Opening Night is Thursday, February 12. LYDIA features music composed by Chris Webb; sets by Andrew Boyce; costumes by Amanda Seymour; lighting by Jesse Belsky; sound design, additional music, and arrangements by David Molina; voice and dialect by Beth McGuire; fight direction by Rick Sordelet; dramaturgy by Matt Cornish; and stage management by Donald E. Claxon. The cast of LYDIA includes Carlo Alb?n, Christian Barillas, Stephanie Beatriz, Armando Dur?n, Catalina Maynard, Onahoua Rodriguez, and Tony Sancho.

Lookingglass Theater Announces Casting For 21st Season

Lookingglass Theatre Company proudly announces casting for its 21st season, including participation from more than 25 company members. Ensemble Members Eva Barr, Mara Blumenfeld, David Catlin, Thomas Cox, Christine Mary Dunford, Laura Eason, Raymond Fox, Doug Hara, David Kersnar, John Musial, Dan Ostling, David Schwimmer, Joey Slotnick, Philip R. Smith, Heidi Stillman, Tracy Walsh, Andrew White, and Mary Zimmerman, with Artistic Associates Louise Lamson, Chris Binder, Sara Gmitter, Andre Pluess, Rick Sims, and Alison Siple and Production Affiliates Patia Bartlett, Ray Nardelli and Jonathan Templeton will participate in the season. Additional casting and company member involvement will be announced at a later date.

The Brothers Karamazov at Lookingglass Theatre Oct 15th

Lookingglass Theatre Company presents its 50th World Premiere with its production of the Lookingglass Original, The Brothers Karamazov, written and directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman, adapted from the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky, translated by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky. The production runs October 15- December 7, 2008 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The press opening is Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 7:30 p.m.
