Producer Aaron Harnick announced today that The Visitor, based on the 2007 Oscar-nominated dramatic film of the same name, will get the musical treatment from Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning team Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey. The Broadway-bound musical will have a private industry reading this December.

The Pulitzer Prize winning play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar makes its Broadway premiere tonight, October 23, starring Hari Dhillon (star of the acclaimed London's Bush Theatre production), Gretchen Mol ('Boardwalk Empire'), Karen Pittman (Domesticated) and Josh Radnor ('How I Met Your Mother'). Screen and stage star Elizabeth Reaser, best known for her performances in the blockbuster Twilight film franchise and her season-long arc on 'Grey's Anatomy,' will step into its upcoming production of The Money Shot for the departing Heather Graham, who exits the production due to a late-breaking opportunity to begin production on a passion project.
