The best of Broadway will perform for FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2017' - a lunchtime series on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 17th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 10.

Acclaimed Broadway illustrator Justin 'Squigs' Robertson and Tony & Emmy-award-winning theatrical producer and filmmaker Dori Berinstein's Spring 2017 edition of The Lights of Broadway Show Cards were released just last week, and BroadwayWorld was there for the big event. Ghostlight Records' recent release of A BRONX TALE (Original Broadway Cast Recording) perfectly captures the spirit of the Broadway show. The record sounds reminiscent of JERSEY BOYS with music and lyrics that pulsate with a heart that reminds listeners of HAIRSPRAY. The up-tempo tracks, enthusiastic performances, and pop and funk sounds of the 60s flood the album. This ensures audiences will be tapping their toes to the infectious beats, even if the songs don't stick to their ribs after the CD ends.

Ghostlight Records releases the album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE in digital formats today, Friday, March 24 with CDs in stores and online Friday, May 12. CDs will be available at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street), where the show is currently running, beginning mid-April. Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, Tribeca Productions, and Evamere Entertainment announced today that the Original Broadway Cast Album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE will be released by Ghostlight Records, beginning March 24, 2017.

The special Valentine's Day tribute to the hit musical will take place on February 12 at The Cutting Room. The show will include songs from the musical, as well as special, unheard stories from former cast members, includingRichard H. Blake (A Bronx Tale, Legally Blonde), Antoine L. Smith (Miss Saigon), Corey Mach (Godspell, Hands on a Hardbody), and Christina Sajous (American Idiot, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark).
