A new play about the event that rocked Atlanta from Peachtree Street to Auburn Avenue, The Temple Bombing recounts the 1958 attack on The Temple, Atlanta's oldest synagogue, which bolstered local and national support for dramatic social change. The Temple Bombing will have its world premiere on the Alliance Stage from February 22 - March 12, 2017. Academy Award(R) winner Kevin Kline stars as Hollywood icon Errol Flynn in this stylish biopic about the actor's final years and his May-December romance with starlet, Beverly Aadland (Dakota Fanning), and her mother's role, Florence Aadland (Academy Award(R) winner Susan Sarandon) in encouraging the relationship. Flynn is widely regarded as the first action-hero in Hollywood. The film, from Lifetime Films, also features Bryan Batt, Max Casella, Jason Davis, Matt Kane, Patrick St. Esprit, Ric Reitz, and Justina Machado.

Theatre in the Square's first season included a revival of the 1939 Broadway hit, The Little Foxes. In the theatre's 29th Season, the American classic of greed, deception, corruption and manipulation will once again grace the Main Stage of the converted cotton warehouse that is now Theatre in the Square.
