Thirty-five years to the day since its very first performance, the company is looking to the future with a starry addition to its leadership team. Soprano Renée Fleming, one of the greatest opera artists of our time, is taking on a new role with the company, joining LA Opera as Advisor for Special Projects through the end of the 2023/24 season. 

Grammy Award winners Renée Fleming and Joshua Bell and internationally acclaimed soprano Larisa Martínez headline free virtual performances with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Xian Zhang premiering in October and November.
