Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with his next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, February 19th at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Performers scheduled for February 19th are Stefanie Brown (Cruel Intentions), Billy Bustamante (Miss Saigon), Pomme Koch (The Band's Visit), Blaine Krauss (Kinky Boots), Amy Hillner Larsen (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I), Nick Sacks (Dear Evan Hansen), Travis J. Shuler (Cruel Intentions) and Matt Wood (SpongeBob SquarePants). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

Artists for World Peace, a nonprofit organization, will host its 7th annual Broadway event on Sunday, February 18th, at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, Manhattan, New York. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Escape to Margaritaville, the new musical featuring the songs of iconic singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett, to be released on Mailboat Records, is available for pre-order today, Monday, December 18 at www.MailboatRecords.com/E2M.html. The full album, which was recorded last month in Chicago and features both original songs along with many of Jimmy Buffett's classics, will be released both digitally and on CD, on Friday, February 16, 2018, the morning of the show's first Broadway performance.

Calling all Parrotheads! This week the musical starting the music of Jimmy Buffett, ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE, opens at the Saenger Theatre! If you need to escape reality for a couple of hours, sink your toes in the sand, and breathe in that fresh island air, this is the show for you. As New Orleanians, we have sort of laid claim on Jimmy Buffett, although he is originally from Pascagoula, Mississippi, because over the course of his entire career he has brought his music and lifestyle straight to our hometown.

ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE, the new musical featuring the songs of iconic singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett, is coming to Broadway! But before it lands on the Great White Way, the show launches a pre-Broadway tour in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre (October 20-28, 2017), and will play Houston's Hobby Center (October 31-November 5, 2017), and Chicago's Oriental Theatre (November 9-December 2, 2017), before sailing to Broadway at the Marquis Theatre with previews beginning February 16, 2018 and an opening night officially set for Thursday, March 15, 2018.
