New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that tickets are on sale for A Civil War Christmas, written by Paula Vogel and directed by Tina Landau. Performances of this holiday-themed work begin Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 7pm at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4 at 7pm. A Civil War Christmas is scheduled to run through Sunday, December 30.

Warner Bros. Records recording artist Eric Hutchinson will kick off 'The Almost Solo Tour' on October 15th at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall. The series of special acoustic evenings will take place at intimate venues across the U.S., with audiences seated up close to Eric and his longtime band member, multi-instrumentalist Elliott Blaufuss. Special guest Jessie Payo will open on most dates. They will play three shows in Hutchinson's hometown of New York City: City Winery on October 29th and Joe's Pub on November 2nd and 3rd.
