One More Sleep 'Til Christmas, an evening of new holiday songs to benefit Toys for Tots, features the talents of Charlie Brady (The Burnt Part Boys/South Pacific), Claybourne Elder (Bonnie and Clyde), Hannah Elless (Mamma Mia!), Gideon Glick (Wild Animals You Should Know), Jaclyn Huberman (I Love You Because), Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot/Passing Strange), Alyse Alan Louis (Mamma Mia!), Christianne Tisdale (On a Clear Day…), Taylor Trensch (Little Miss Sunshine), and Paul Wyatt (Sessions) on Monday, December 12 at 9:30pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre (at the West Bank Café), 407 West 42nd Street.

Stars of stage and screen will lend their voices to A Better Holiday: A Concert to Benefit the It Gets Better Project. The concert will feature songs of hope to celebrate the season, and is set for Monday, December 5th at Joe's Pub. Show time is 9:30PM.

Featuring new songs from top songwriters in New York City, the one-night engagement is November 21 at 8:00pm at the CAP21 Black Box Theatre (18 West 18th Street, 5th Floor). All proceeds will benefit CAP21. Tickets are $21 and include a post-concert wine networking party. Tickets are available through OvationTix, online at www.cap21.org, or at the door.

On Monday, November 14, Sonnet Repertory Theatre hosted its Tenth Annual Benefit and Cabaret. The event brought together a diverse and talented group of performers and composers at Joe's Pub to honor award-winning director and teacher, Gerald Freedman. Celebrating Freedman's career, this evening featured some of Broadway's greatest talents and legends, including Brian d'Arcy James, Jennifer Ferrin, Penny Fuller, Hal Holbrook, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Jeremy Jordan, Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, Terrence Mann, John Mauceri, Estelle Parsons, Austin Pendleton, Bryce Pinkham,Wesley Taylor, Alfred Uhry, Price Waldman, and Emily Young, and including special video tributes by Olympia Dukakis and Chita Rivera. Following a successful 23rd Annual Festival of New Musicals held in NYC Oct. 27-28. The National Alliance for Musical Theatre held a party at Southern Hospitality. This year's Festival attaracted over 650 people representing 300 organizations from around the country including Europe attending the eight new musicals that were presented. Broadway stars including cast members from Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Ben Walker, Kate Roberts, and Erin Felgar), American Idiot (John Gallagher Jr., Theo Stockman, Rebecca Jones and Libby Winters) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Celia Keenan-Bolger and Sarah Saltzberg) gathered and sang Monday night at Colt Coeur's 2nd Annual Karaoke Classic Benefit in Brooklyn. Rightor Doyle, Mamie Gummer and Celia Keenan-Bolger chaired the event which raised funds for Play Hotel (Colt Coeur's ongoing reading series, and their principal arena for developing new work) as well as their next production.
