Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures has revealed the official synopsis for the highly anticipated film IRON MAN 3. Check it out below:

Working Title Films and Big Talk Productions have commenced filming on THE WORLD'S END, the third installment of Edgar Wright's trilogy of comedies, following the successes Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007).

E!online reports that Jon Favreau will give up his director's hat for the upcoming sequel IRON MAN 3 and instead appear in an acting capacity. The actor will reprise his role as Tony Stark's bodyguard, Happy Hogan in the film.

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Included in this year's line-up is Price Check, featuring Cheyenne Jackson, Parker Posey, and Annie Parisse.The Festival will be held January 19 through 29 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Heather Headley confirms role in THE BODYGUARD MUSICAL!

According to The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Tony Award winner Heather Headley will once again be headed back to the stage: this time, she'll be stepping into the shoes of Whitney Houston's role in THE BODYGUARD, which is being adapted for a West End theatre.

Anne Hathaway was last associated with LES MISERABLES when she belted out her own version of 'Own My Own' at February's Oscar ceremony to past host Hugh Jackman. Now, BroadwayWorld.com's reliable sources tell us that at Jackman's pushing, she is now set to take on the role of Fantine in the eagerly anticipated film version of the epic musical.

Deadline.com reports this morning that filming for Woverine 2, the sequel to the successful X Men franchise starring Hugh Jackman, may be pushed back to the spring of 2012 due to location scouting issues. The film had been tentatively scheduled to film in Japan this fall, however weather conditions have made securing locations difficult. The operation may now move to Canada instead.

According to Deadline.com, HBO and BBC have greenlit a new mini-series written by Tom Stoopard entitled 'Parade's End.' Teh five-part drama will star Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall.

According to Deadline.com, Catherine Zeta-Jones is set to join Focus Features' 'Lay the Favorite.' Production is a film adaptation of Beth Raymer's gambling memoir. Zeta joins joins previously announced Bruce Willis and Rebecca Hall. Production will begin in April.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Director Baz Luhrmann has announced his interest in shooting his upcoming remake of The Great Gatsby in 3D.
