The production, directed by Peter Hall, will begin rehearsals in late November. The UK Daily Mail reports that Michael Ball will soon see theatre from a different angle. Ball has decided to assume the role of producer for the first time with LOVE STORY, a musical adaptation of the Erich Segal novel. His investment is estimated to be close to £250,000.

The 2010 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, the Founding Sponsor of the Festival, today announced its remaining out-of-competition feature film selections in the Encounters, Discovery, Cinemania and Spotlight sections. The 55th Annual Evening Standards Theatre Awards, honoring outstanding achievements in London Theater, today has released their long list of 2009 nominees. The award ceremony, which will take place on November 23 at the Royal Opera House, will honor some of theater's biggest stars, including Ian McKellen, Kevin Spacey, Sam Mendes, and more. Sponsored by U.K'.s Evening Standard newspaper, with nominees selected by a panel of London theater critics, the shortlist of nominees will be sometime next week.
