ABC continues to set the industry standard for creative ingenuity, strong viewer retention and ratings success in primetime, delivering the No. 1 comedy ('Modern Family'), No. 1 drama ('Grey's Anatomy') and No. 1 freshman drama ('Once Upon a Time') this season in the key Adult 18-49 demographic.

The ABC network has revealed its scripted slate of shows for the upcoming season.

In 1976, Coal Miner's Daughter, country star Loretta Lynn's autobiography (written with journalist George Vecsey) became a New York Times Bestseller; in 1980 the book was made into an Academy Award-winning film starring Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones. Now, it's headed for Broadway, with actress Zooey Deschanel playing Loretta Lynn.

Today's spotlight falls upon Darin Richardson, who is currently onstage in Circle Players' Hairspray, getting his 1960s teen heartthrob on as Link Larkin, playing opposite Whitney Vaughn as Tracy Turnblad. For Richardson, it's just the latest in a long list of onstage roles, which includes his recent role in The Keeton Theatre's Kiss Me, Kate, and a stint at the Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge, where he and castmates were forced to sort of re-write The Good Book when Jesus got stuck in the tomb. They were joined by and Joel Hatch (Franz, The Butler), Joy Hermalyn (Sister Berthe), Linda Mugleston (Sister Margaretta), Faith Sherman (Sister Sophia), and Veanne Cox (Frau Schmidt). The Broadway at Birdland concert series announces that Broadway stars Karen Mason and Brent Barrett will share the stage for the first time in "Sing Happy" on Monday, April 9 at 7pm.

Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch will be performing swinging standards at the legendary Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel every Sunday in June from 9pm - 12 midnight. The two performers, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the open mic Cast Party, which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, and tours nationally. Caruso and Stritch will be joined by bassist Steve Doyle.

McCoy Rigby Entertainment has announced that Brent Barrett will join the two time Emmy Award winning and two time Tony® Award nominated production, PETER PAN. The tour is scheduled to take flight on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 in Dallas, TX at the Music Hall at Fair Park.
