He made his Broadway debut, while still a teen, in A CHORUS LINE. He's also been featured in CATS, CHICAGO, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, and played the title roles in both JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and THE WHO'S TOMMY.

Carnegie Hall today announced the complete cast for its gala benefit performance of The Sound of Music on Tuesday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. New to the cast are Mary Michael Patterson (Anything Goes) as Liesl von Trapp, Nick Spangler (The Book of Mormon) as Rolf Gruber, Cotter Smith (Next Fall) as Herr Zeller, Drama Desk and Obie Award recipient Reed Birney as Admiral von Schreiber, and Joel Hatch (Billy Elliot) as Franz, The Butler.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series announces that Broadway stars Karen Mason and Brent Barrett will share the stage for the first time in "Sing Happy" on Monday, April 9 at 7pm.

Actress Edie Falco will be featured on tonight's episode of NBC's WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? In the series, viewers can take an up-close and personal look inside the family history of some of today's most beloved and iconic celebrities.

Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch will be performing swinging standards at the legendary Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel every Sunday in June from 9pm - 12 midnight. The two performers, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the open mic Cast Party, which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, and tours nationally. Caruso and Stritch will be joined by bassist Steve Doyle.

McCoy Rigby Entertainment has announced that Brent Barrett will join the two time Emmy Award winning and two time Tony® Award nominated production, PETER PAN. The tour is scheduled to take flight on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 in Dallas, TX at the Music Hall at Fair Park.

According to Deadline.com, Jai Rodriguez will star in the upcoming ABC comedy pilot MALIBU COUNTRY. The actor joins previously announced cast members Lily Tomlin and Reba McEntire.

Fresh off of its Season 14 launch, Dancing with the Stars, ABC's leading entertainment show, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, is bringing a production exclusively to the New Tropicana Las Vegas. 16-year-old New York singer-songwriter Ali Isabella made her global concert debut on February 26 at the International Festival of Country Music at Wembley Arena in London, England, the same day as her first CD, "Say You'll Be Mine," was released simultaneously in the UK and through iTunes and Amazon. This week (March 11 2012), one of the cuts on that album - "What If" - hit The Hotdisc Top 40 Chart in the #21 spot overall and #9 of the new releases.

On Friday March 9 and Sunday March 11, debonair Broadway tenor Brian Stokes Mitchell graced the stage of the Broad in Santa Monica for an intimate concert of standard tunes and Broadway favorites. Called by some critics the last Broadway leading man, Mitchell, or Stokes, as he prefers to be called, is handsome and possesses an astoundingly rich vocal instrument, but it is his warm, up-close charismatic approach to the material that is most winning. He makes you feel like you are at home with him, his wife and eight year-old son, as he shares some of his favorite tunes and embarrassing moments onstage. There's the time when he was performing Kiss Me Kate on Broadway and forgot the lyrics to 'Where Is the Life That Late I Led'. He looked down into the orchestra pit for assistance from musical director Paul Gemignani, who looked back at him and shrugged. Stokes proceeded in our presence to essay the number reading the lyrics from a tiny notebook which he pulled from the breast pocket of his suit jacket. It is this type of small human touch that characterizes the man and makes him vulnerable and totally likeable.
