New hit British musical SUNNY AFTERNOON today announced new members of the cast to start from April 6 2015. Originating cast members will be joined by Jason Baughan in the role of Eddie Kassner and Jo Servi as Gregory Piven.

BillBoard magazine said it best when stated, 'No one refracts age-old Americana through a cutting-edge prism with the warm-hearted, fleet-minded individuality of Frisell.' Joining Frisell for this performance will be fellow guitar master Greg Leisz on electric and pedal steel guitars, and his trio partners Tony Scherr on bass and Kenny Wollesen on drums.

Ray Davies of The Kinks will be signing CD copies of the official cast recording album of Sunny Afternoon, Lola vs the Powerman new deluxe edition and the new Kinks five-CD box set 'The Anthology 1964-1971', at the Harold Pinter Theatre, London, from 4.00pm - 5.15pm on 11 December 2014.

Having missed the opportunity to see Sunny Afternoon during its run at the Hampstead Theatre, I was thrilled (and not at all surprised) when it was announced earlier this year that it would be transferring to the West End. Sunny Afternoon, the critically acclaimed new musical, which tells the story of the early life of Ray Davies and the rise to stardom of The Kinks, has released seven preview tracks from the official cast recording album, released later this month. All 29 tracks on the album are performed entirely by members of the company, with John Dagleish as Ray Davies, George Maguire as Dave Davies, Ned Derrington as Pete Quaife and Adam Sopp as Mick Avory.
