John Pizzarelli returns to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show celebrating iconic singer-songwriter Johnny Mercer, April 25 - May 6. The New York Times recently described John Pizzarelli and his wife Jessica Molaskey as "the supreme nightclub act of our time." Specifically, Jazz Weekly recently raved about John Pizzarelli's Johnny Mercer program: "A gig like this oozes with style, class and fun, with Pizzarelli being one of the best ambassadors for the Great American Songbook. One of his best."At the Cafe, he'll perform Johnny's most recognizable hits as well as lesser-known gems such as "Jamboree Jones" and "Slue Foot."

Immersion Theatre today announced lead casting for their Autumn 2016 tour of R.C. Sherriff's Journey's End. Tom Grace (The Ilyiad, Labyrinth) will play Stanhope, and will be joined by Matt Ray Brown (1984, Ghosts) as Osborne and Rory Fairbairn (Madame X, Blackout) as Raleigh.

For Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, June begins with one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in recent history, Christopher Cross, followed by a Reggae Meets Jazz series with Monty Alexander Harlem Kingston Express, contemporary jazz instrumentalist group Acoustic Alchemy and Grammy Award-winning vocalist Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton. The show is a celebration of her 40-year cabaret career, from early years at Reno Sweeney in Greenwich Village up to recent performances in New York, L.A. and San Francisco.
