Shakespeare Uncovered continues with a second season on PBS, beginning tonight, January 30 at 9 p.m. (check local listings) and continuing the following two successive Todays.

At a press conference held at Barrington Stage Company's Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, Artistic Director Julianne Boyd announced the theatre's 2015 season of musicals and plays that will take place in Downtown Pittsfield in the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, St. Germain Stage and Youth Theatre venues.

Shakespeare Uncovered continues with a second season on PBS, beginning Friday, January 30 at 9 p.m. (check local listings) and continuing the following two successive Fridays.

After the critically acclaimed, Grand Opening Main Season production of the Musical Comedy, 'AIN'T RETIREMENT GRAND!', Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE (5732 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL) presents a Celebration to the Holidays with the glittering musical/comedy revue, 'A CHRISTMAS CABARET'.

The College of New Rochelle's production of NINE including Louise Edeiken, an original Broadway cast member, will be performed November 7 to 16 at the College. Based on Federico Fellini's semi-autobiographical film 8½, the show examines the midlife crisis and creative block of film director Guido Contini, as told first-hand by the romantic partners who have influenced him and become entangled in his life.

As many times as I have seen Man of La Mancha, I relish the music and high dramatic moments of this classic piece of theatre. Being, naturally, that the production of it is top notch, with the right actors and skilled direction! GCT's current revival is top of the line. I remember seeing Richard Kiley, the original Cervantes/Alonso Quijana/Don Quijote in a Broadway revival in the 70s and was blown away by his ferocious commitment to the role. He spoke and sang to the last row of the balcony without even trying because of his brilliant focus on relaying the message of peace, justice, love and the simple joy of living in harmony with your fellow-man. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. Well, GCT's production is quieter, more subdued, but every bit as serious, entertaining and nurturing.

Opening Night is Friday, September 5th and the production runs weekends through September 28th, 2014.

After a critically acclaimed SOLD-OUT run of the inaugural production of 'CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES', Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE, 5732 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL presents the second production of the Summer Season, the World Premier Musical/Comedy 'COUPLED'.

On Tuesday evening, June 10, the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre will present a preview of The Property Known as Garland starring Lee Marlow and directed by legendary film actor Burt Reynolds at the Lake Park Mirror Ballroom. The show, which is being performed on Judy Garland's birthday, begins at 8:00 pm. The proceeds will benefit the Burt Reynolds Institute Building Fund.
