The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, began rehearsals today (pictured, left) for the world premiere musical Waitress. Based on the motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly the new musical has a book by Jessie Nelson, music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, direction by Diane Paulus, and choreography by Chase Brock.

A 'Potions and Planting Tea Party' will be hosted at Gallow Green in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. This fun event for children ages 6 to 11 will be held on 7/11, 7/18, 8/1 and 9/12.

Second Stage Theatre has announced two New York Premiere productions for its upcoming 37th season.  The season will kick off in fall 2015 with the New York Premiere production of Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews' new musical, INVISIBLE THREAD (previously titled Witness Uganda), in association with American Repertory Theater, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland, Pippin).  The season will continue in early 2016 with the New York premiere of Lydia R. Diamond's (Stick Fly) critically acclaimed play, SMART PEOPLE, directed by Tony Award Winner Kenny Leon (Fences, A Raisin in the Sun, Stick Fly). Two additional productions remain to be announced.

MSG Entertainment (MSGE) announced today that due to an overwhelming response from audiences, the brand new production at Radio City Music Hall, New York Spring Spectacular, presented by Chase, will extend its run through May 7, 2015. The added performances are Wednesday, May 6 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM and Thursday, May 7 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM.
