Lauren Molina, Carrie St. Louis, Joey Calveri, & More Lead ROCK OF AGES Reunion at 54 Below

On Monday, June 3rd, cast members from the Broadway, National Tour, and Las Vegas companies of Rock of Ages will reunite in concert at Feinstein's/54 Below to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show opening on Broadway. They will be joined by some of the newest members of the Rock of Ages family, cast members from this summer's Off-Broadway Revival.

St. Louis Fringe Festival Announces 2018 National Headline Act

This August, the St. Louis Fringe Festival will debut the musical comedy, Race Cars and Romance, written by brothers Klay and Brent Rogers. This new broad comedy, produced and general managed by The Cruxory Group of NYC in Association with the St. Louis Fringe Festival, has captured the National Headline Act slot after previously having four successful readings, spanning from Dallas to Portland.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! is on its Way to Sacramento

The completely original new musical Something Rotten!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award and Tony Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Tony Award nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, opens at the Community Center Theater on Jan. 2, 2018, and runs through Jan. 7.

BWW Review: SOMETHING ROTTEN! Is Great Witty Tuneful Fun

SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a musical comedy with a book by John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick and music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick. Set in 1595, it tells the story of the Bottom brothers, Nick (Rob McClure) and Nigel (Pierce Cassedy), and their struggle to produce a show that isn't overshadowed by their contemporary William Shakespeare (Adam Pascal). The show opened on Broadway in 2015 and was nominated for multiple Tony Awards and ran for 745 performances. This touring production launched earlier this year.

With nine Tony Award nominations under its belt, SOMETHING ROTTEN! closed on Broadway on January 1, 2017, and barely took a breather before hitting the road with three of its principal players reprising their roles. Rob McClure, Adam Pascal and Josh Grisetti Will Tour the Country with SOMETHING ROTTEN!

Producer Kevin McCollum  just announced casting for the National Tour of Something Rotten!, the ten-time Tony-Award nominated smash hit musical comedy. Three of the current Broadway principals will be reprising their roles on tour: Rob McClure as Nick Bottom, Adam Pascal as Shakespeare and Josh Grisetti as Nigel Bottom.

The brilliant Klea Blackhurst repeated her starring role as the saucy, wisecracking housemaid Hazel in a new musical based on Ted Key's cartoon character Hazel - best known for the 1961-66 TV sitcom of the same name. Titled 'Hazel: A Musical Maid in America', the four Lab Workshop performances were May 28 and 29 at the Lyric Theatre Performance Space in Times Square. PIECE OF MY HEART Headed to Broadway in Spring 2015?

It looks like Broadway may have another jukebox musical opening next spring. According to Deadline.com, the children of Bert Berns, songwriting contemporary of Carole King, Gerry Goffin, and many other '60s artists, are pushing to have, PIECE OF MY HEART: THE BERT BERNS STORY, the Off-Broadway bio musical about their father, taken to the Great White Way.
