Playwrights Horizons has announced complete casting for BELLA: AN AMERICAN TALL TALE, the co-world premiere of a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin at Playwrights, Miracle Brothers).

YOLO! Productions is proud to be bringing a revival of 'Til Sunday to the Eighth Annual Hollywood Fringe Festival. Starring the show's writer, Nairoby Otero and directed by Michael D'Angora, 'Til Sunday will begin performances at The LGBT Center the first week of June.

Rehearsals have begun for Center Theatre Group's production of 'Archduke.' Written by Rajiv Joseph, the world premiere of 'Archduke' begins previews April 25, opens May 7 and continues through June 4, 2017, at the Mark Taper Forum. Directed by Giovanna Sardelli, the cast includes, in alphabetical order, Josiah Bania, Stephanie McVay, Ramiz Monsef, Patrick Page, Stephen Stocking and Todd Weeks. Gregory Boyd, Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre announces eight productions for its 2017-2018 season, including the premiere of three plays developed in the Alley All New Festival.

Rehearsal images have been released today for the European premiere of Guards at the Taj, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph and directed by Jamie Lloyd. Danny Ashok (Disgraced, Bush Theatre; Capital, BBC) will play Humayun and Darren Kuppan (East is East, West End/ UK Tour) will play Babur. 

Cleveland Play House (CPH) will debut four inventive and bold new works during their 2017 New Ground Theatre Festival. This year's New Ground will run from May 11-20.

Ensemble Theatre's 'Playwrights' was established in the early 1990's by Don Bianchi, one of the founders of Dobama, and Park Goist, a professor of American Studies at Case Western Reserve. It was started with the hope of creating an opportunity for local playwrights to have their works staged.

Stable Cable Lab Co. will present a limited engagement of Padraic Lillis' solo show Hope You Get to Eleven, or What Are We Doing to Do About Sally? directed by Scott Illingworth at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B).

Rajiv Joseph's plays include Gruesome Playground Injuries, All This Intimacy and the Pulitzer Prize-nominated Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. On screen, he's written for TV series Nurse Jackie and feature film Draft Day, starring Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner. His 2015 play Guards at the Taj, about two imperial guards in 17th-century India handed a gruesome decree, has its European premiere at the Bush Theatre, directed by Jamie Lloyd, beginning previews on 7 April.

???????The Bush Theatre reopens this week following the biggest capital project in the theatre's history. The £4.3million, year-long revitalisation of the venue by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins has turned an old library built at the turn of the 20th Century into a fully accessible, modernised cultural building. 

Mad March Hare in association with Red Line Productions is thrilled to present the Sydney premiere of the groundbreaking theatrical drama Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo by Rajiv Joseph for a limited season at the Old Fitz Theatre from 12 April.

 Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for Electra beginning on April 4 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and running through May 21 in the outdoor venue of the Annette Strauss Square at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. This week, London's Bush Theatre reopens following a £4.3 million capital project. The building's revitalisation sees it become more sustainable and entirely accessible, with a new entrance, front-of-house area and garden terrace, improved rehearsal and dressing room facilities, an expanded main auditorium, and a new 70-seat studio space - a home for emerging artists and producers. Madani Younis, Artistic Director since 2012, discusses his hopes for the Bush.

The award-winning Impro Theatre continues its 11th Anniversary Season with the World Premiere workshop production of Play UnScripted at the intimate Impro Studio in the heart of Los Feliz Village. These completely improvised performances will take place today nights at 7:30pm from March 11 to April 29, 2017.

Dallas Theater Center announced today that Hamilton: An American Musical stars Sydney James Harcourt and Elizabeth Judd will headline Centerstage 2017: Revolution and Revelry on Saturday, May 6. Chaired by Mickie and Jeff Bragalone, with Honorary Chairs Linda and Bill Custard, Centerstage 2017 will take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, which will be transformed for the evening.

Christopher Gattelli, the Tony-winning choreographer, is practically jumping with joy over the success of ''Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical!'' and its giant leap to the big screen. Its three-day screenings (Feb. 16, 18 and 22) broke records to become the highest-grossing Broadway event from Fathom Events. And now ''Disney's Newsies'' will return for an encore showing on Saturday, March 4, at 12:55 p.m.
