Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Making his New York debut at 42West, Jim Territo (Rock N Roll Debauchery, Dusty Junction) brings a diverse and thrilling concert of original music and storytelling with special guests from the worlds of stage and screen including Tracy McDowell (Motown), Steven G. Douglas (GHOST), Cali Moore (The Bardy Bunch), Sean Matthew Whiteford (Rock N' Roll Debauchery), Raena White (The Lion King), Gavin Gregory (Porgy & Bess) and more. The Broadway Sings concert series comes to 54 Below for its first "Best Of Broadway Sings" concert, which will feature showstoppers from the series' previous seven concerts. Some of Broadway's brightest, current talents will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of seven pop superstars: Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK. Over 15 Broadway performers will be accompanied by an 8-piece jazz band playing unique, original orchestrations created for the acclaimed series.

On Monday night, some of Broadway's brightest talents sang completely new arrangements of the hits of Amy Winehouse in the most recent concert of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series. More than 20 Broadway performers were accompanied by a full band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the English singer's greatest songs. Five world premiere plays and three new adaptations seen first by Chicago audiences received Jeff nominations by the Jeff Awards Committee and are among the 166 nominations in 36 categories announced for Chicago Equity theatrical productions opened between August 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013.

This summer's New York International Fringe Festival will host the new futuristic rock musical BARCODE which features book, music, and lyrics by Debbie Andrews and Mike Blaxill of the New York indie quartet Gladshot, and Hair co-author James Rado as creative consultant. Joe Barros (director of the 2011 FringeNYC hit The Legend of Julie Taymor) directs and choreographs.
