TNT is gearing up for an explosive summer with three action-packed dramas in the lineup, including the fourth season of returning hit Falling Skies and the launch of the new series The Last Ship and Legends.

TNT and TBS are heading to SXSW, and they're bringing with them stars and producers of such series as TNT's Falling Skies and new dramas The Last Ship and Legends, as well as TBS's late-night series The Pete Holmes Show. On Monday, March 10, the networks will stage two panels during the annual music, film and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, Texas. That night, TNT will hold a special First Look Watch Party for The Last Ship, giving SXSW attendees the opportunity to catch the entire first episode of the action-packed series from executive producer Michael Bay (Transformers). Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Rhona Mitra (Strike Back) and Adam Baldwin (Chuck, Firefly) are scheduled to appear at the Watch Party.

BrickHouse Theatre, the newest theatre in the NoHo Arts District presents a world premiere farce DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY CHRISTMAS, written and directed by Paul Storiale. ("One Night Stands", "The Columbine Project") In this hilarious holiday farce, Dean and Joanne want one perfect family Christmas before they retire to Florida but are surprised to find Grandpa Logan dead at the same time their children arrive. Their daughter, Christine arrives home with her Jewish fiance but is afraid to tell her mother she is converting. Adam, the middle child brings a girl Katie home with him only to seek revenge, and their youngest son arrives with a big bag of grudge. Chaos ensues when the parents attempt to hide Grandpa's death.

School of Visual Arts (SVA) announced the winners of its 2013 Dusty Film & Animation Festival and Awards, now in its 24th year, at an awards ceremony held May 7, 2013 at New York City's SVA Theatre (333 W. 23rd Street). TNT has greenlit the action-packed drama series The Last Ship, starring Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy) and executive-produced by blockbuster filmmaker Michael Bay (Transformers). Based on William Brinkley's popular novel, The Last Ship comes to TNT from Bay's Platinum Dunes and its partners, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, whose credits include upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Bay, Fuller and Form serve as executive producers, along with showrunner Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace) and Steven Kane (The Closer). Steinberg and Kane wrote the series pilot, which was directed by Jonathan Mostow (U-571).
