In October of 2000, in a little theatre on Santa Monica Blvd, a theatrical phenomenon was about to be born. bare, with a score by Damon Intrabartolo and lyrics by Jon Hartmere, became an instant hit, extending several times, consistently playing to sell out crowds, and breaking box office records. The show would later receive another sold-out production at the American Theatre of Actors in New York City, and has become a favorite among regional theatres.
