In response to national conversations on racial justice and equality, Atlanta's Alliance Theatre will produce THE NEW PLAY FEST'S HANDS UP: SEVEN PLAYWRIGHTS, SEVEN TESTIMENTS as part of its Hertz Stage series, October 8 – 31, 2021. 

Atlanta's Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre presents the world premiere The Temple Bombing, written and directed by Jimmy Maize. A new play about the event that rocked Atlanta from Peachtree Street to Auburn Avenue, The Temple Bombing recounts the 1958 attack on The Temple, Atlanta's oldest synagogue, which bolstered local and national support for dramatic social change. The Temple Bombing will have its world premiere on the Alliance Stage from February 22 - March 12, 2017. The Alliance's production, directed by Susan V. Booth (Blues for an Alabama Sky, The Geller Girls, August: Osage County), will feature some of Atlanta's most talented and well-respected actors in one of the largest ensembles of the 2015/16 season.
