The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, National New Play Network, and Stage Directors & Choreographers Foundation have announced open applications for a second round of fellows of the National Directors Fellowship (NDF). Applications will be accepted online January 11-15 at the O'Neill website (www.theoneill.org).

Roundabout Theatre Company's Roundabout Underground world-premiere production of UGLY LIES THE BONE, which opened to widespread critical acclaim Off-Broadway, is now extended by two weeks through December 6, 2015 only at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces casting for First Look 2015, a program dedicated to new play development, today, August 11, through August 16, 2015 in the Upstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St). First Look 2015 features six staged readings, providing an early look at works-in-progress from some of the most dynamic playwrights in the field. The mission of First Look is to develop new plays for future production at Steppenwolf and other theaters across the country.

?On Friday, the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center welcomed hundreds of artists, donors, patrons, and public figures to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of its expanded campus. Designed by Centerbrook Architects and with lead support from the State of Connecticut and private donors, the O'Neill campus now boasts eight new cottages and a new rehearsal hall with composition and dance studios, creating  living, rehearsal, and production space for an additional 65 artists on the O'Neill's historic seaside campus in Waterford, CT.

Nathan Lane was honored last night at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 15th Annual Monte Cristo Awards at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. Lane received the Monte Cristo Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to the American theater. Check out a look back below!

The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center just honored stage and screen star Nathan Lane with the Monte Cristo Award, which he received last night, April 13 at the Edison Ballroom. Known for roles as Max Bailystock in the musical The Producers, Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, and, and recurring roles in Modern Familyand The Good Wife, Lane has created a wide footprint on American stage, film, and television. Other memorable and award winning roles include Albert in The Birdcage, Gomez in The Addams Family, and the voices of Snowbell in Stuart Little and Timon in The Lion King.

Home Street Home, a new musical, will play an 11-performance run between today, February 20 - March 7, 2015 at Z Space, located in the Mission District in San Francisco. Home Street Home features music by punk legend Fat Mike (NOFX), lyrics by Fat Mike, Jeff Marx (Tony Award winner, Avenue Q) & Goddess Soma (AVN Award winning writer/director), and book by Goddess Soma & Fat Mike. Richard Israel (LA Drama Critics Circle Career Achievement Award winner) will direct.
