Lipuma, concludes its 20th Anniversary Season with The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead by Robert Hewett, directed by Joseph Hanreddy, and featuring Deborah Staples.The production runs tonight, May 22 - July 29, 2012 at Writers' Theatre, 664 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe. The Press Openings are Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

Join 92YTribeca for a reading and panel discussion of Handbook for an American Revolutionary, written and performed by actor, playwright, and Puffin Grant recipient Matthew-Lee Erlbach, whose work Rachel Maddow has called "shocking, engaging, funny, and totally original." HANDBOOK FOR AN AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY, written and performed by Matthew-Lee Erlbach and directed by Mark Wing-Davey, will be read May 23, 7:30PM at 92YTribeca, with a panel discussion following the performance, moderated by Allison Kilkenny (Nation Magazine, Citizen Radio).

Pre-NY Tryout of ROLLER DISCO THE MUSICAL! Set for 6/13, Boston

Oberon in association with the Ministry of Theater will present a pre-New York tryout of ROLLER DISCO THE MUSICAL!, an unautherized parody of the classic film Roller Boogie, from May 30 to August 30 at Oberon in Cambridge Massachusetts, with its world premiere opening night on June 13. With executive producer Pablo Rojas, Roller Disco aims to transfer to Off-Broadway in Spring 2013.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company concludes its fantastic and popular eighteenth season with William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" opening tonight, May 11. This production features CSC Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips as Shylock, CSC Ensemble Member Kelly Mengelkoch as Portia and introducing to Cincinnati audiences, Jared Joplin as Antonio, the Merchant of Venice. "The Merchant of Venice" opens tonight and runs through June 3 2012. The production design is generously sponsored by Taft, Stettinius and Hollister.
