Artscape Theatre in association with The Maynardville Theatre Trust and The City of Cape Town will present an adaptation of the romantic Shakespearean comedy, TWELFTH NIGHT, at the Maynardville's Open Air Theatre in 2017. Starring David Johnson and Elizabeth Akudugu, this uniquely African-inspired version is directed by Geoffrey Hyland.

But this extraordinarily empathetic project, developed with Clean Break, gives those inmates individual voices and means of expression, while the all-female cast that inhabit them gives new voice to three familiar plays.

Producer Kevin McCollum just announced casting for the National Tour of Something Rotten!, the ten-time Tony-Award nominated smash hit musical comedy. Three of the current Broadway principals will be reprising their roles on tour: Rob McClure as Nick Bottom, Adam Pascal as Shakespeare and Josh Grisetti as Nigel Bottom.

When Bobby Daniel Rodriguez, Kaili Y. Turner, and Kim Rios Lin set out to produce their 3rd Colors of Community event they were fully aware of the event's timing three days after our Nation's Presidential election. The house was packed at HSA Theater, with individuals of all emotions ready to absorb the Colors of Community Mission: 'To help bridge the divides between communities through theater and discourse.'
