Tom Sturridge, the British stage and film actor whose credits include Being Julia and On The Road, will make his Broadway debut this spring in Orphans.

The production is directed by Jeremy Herrin with design by Tom Scutt, and runs until 9 February.

Auckland Theatre Company presents the debut of 'Next Big Thing', a year-long youth company which provides young actors with a bridge between school and full-time industry training. As part of the current three-play Royal Court at the Duke of York's Season with Posh by Laura Wade, Jumpy by April De Angelis and Constellations by Nick Payne, four of the UK's leading playwrights will direct one of their all-time favourite plays in a series of one-off afternoon readings from 29 June at the Duke of York's Theatre in a special event supported by The Ambassador Theatre Group. The cast comprises Emily Berrington (Effie), Beth Cordingly (Louisa), Darrell D'Silva (Michael), Trevor Fox (Gordon), John MacMillan (Castro) and Sally Rogers (Sally).
