It seems like everything is getting cancelled these days. But cancellations can create new opportunities, as Open Book Theatre Company (OBTC) in Trenton is discovering. In the wake of the cancellation of three previously scheduled performances at their theatre, they are offering an outdoor, socially distanced play about how everything is being cancelled!

Innovative performance duo Hunt & Darton have been delivering their upbeat show, Radio Local, digitally over the summer: now, they will be hosting a one-of-a-kind live event in Mitcham, a specially socially distanced two-day performance of their hyper-local radio show in an independent Italian restaurant.

Who doesn't like watching fluffy polar bears, monkeys in natural hot springs, and koalas? Custom couture made out of single use objects? The official music video for 'Can You Hear Me' By Danielle Alura is very eye-catching and creates an amazing picture for Mother Earth; fluffy, fashionable and factual all at the same time.

The Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) has announced a new, revamped 2020/21 season lineup with special precautions in place to protect audiences, volunteers and staff from COVID-19.

Blue Gate Theatrea??s A Güt Life! is a show about life on an Amish farm, and how it is full of unique challenges and rich blessings.   Presented by Amish story tellers Eliza and Simon Yoder, who give you a glimpse into their life together.  Not only does this charming show not only have jokes that will make you laugh, but it also will leave you fascinated as you learn things you may not know about the Amish lifestyle.  A Güt Life! is currently playing at the Blue Gate Music Hall in Shipshewana, Indiana Monday- Saturday (Various times) through September 5th.

As live theatre remains in lockdown, Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) is morphing their Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival into a free, livestreaming program of four FESTIVAL EVENTS on Saturdays in August, and a hybrid stage production of ROMEO & JULIET Labor Day weekend. ISC's co-founders David Melville & Melissa Chalsma were most gracious in answering my emailed queries on their twenty-plus-years-old theatre organization.

Choosing a college was an overwhelming process for me.  It was probably one of the biggest decisions I had to make at that point in my life.
