SPACE on Ryder Farm, a non-profit artist residency program located an hour north of New York City, is hosting their first annual Farm in the City gala. The event features a farm-to-table dinner, performances from six seasons of SPACE-developed work, and a live auction. The gala will take place on Monday, October 24th at 7 p.m. at Sun West Studios, 450 W. 31st Street, NYC.

Smith Street Stage, the NYIT Award-Winning theatre company, is presenting The Frankenstein Project, an evening of experimental, collaborative, and original adaptations of Mary Shelley's classic novel. The Public Theater presents the extended New York Premiere of SWEAT by Lynn Nottage. Directed by Kate Whoriskey, SWEAT begins performances tonight, October 18 and was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, November 20. It will now run through Sunday, November 27 with an official press opening on Thursday, November 3.
