Jonathan Whitton's BLACK SHEEP CARNIVAL Returns to Don't Tell Mama, 7/8-12/2

Jonathan Whitton (Bistro & MAC Award Winner, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH) continues his critically lauded concert residency with guitarist Aaron Jones at Don't Tell Mama. BLACK SHEEP CARNIVAL. BLACK SHEEP CARNVAL will play the Brick Room at Don't Tell Mama every first Monday through 2013 with dates scheduled for Monday, July 8, August 5,September 2, October 7, November 4, & December 2. All performances are at 7:30PM. Tickets are $10 plus a two-drink minimum.

STAGE TUBE: U.S. Jutice Department in Control of an $11.5 Million Picasso

U.S. Authorities are holding a 1909 Pablo Picasso painting for the Italian Government entitled 'Compotier et tasse, ' or 'Fruit bowl and cup' in English, According to the HUffington Post. The painting is worth an estimated $11.5 million, and is being held 'pending the outcome of criminal proceedings against its owner in Italy.'

Brimmer Street Theatre Co.'s PACK UP THE MOON to Open at The Lounge Theatre, 7/13

Brimmer Street Theatre Company has announced it will present its seventh world premiere, Pack Up The Moon by Christina Cigala(developed with members of BSTC), directed by Amy K. Harmon, at the Lounge Theatre in Hollywood. Preview performances begin on Saturday, July 6. Opening is set for Saturday, July 13 at 8pm. Pack Up The Moon will play a limited engagement through August 10.

Profiles Theatre announces an extended run for the World Premiere of Resident Artist Neil LaBute's revised stage version of In the Company of Men, now playing at The Main Stage, 4139 N. Broadway. Directed by Profiles Resident Artist and Steppenwolf ensemble member Rick Snyder, In the Company of Men opened May 16 to critical acclaim and has been extended for another four weeks through July 28, 2013.
