Players Theater Opens GAY CAMP This Friday

Following its sold-out run as part of the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival, Gay Camp will move its production to The Players Theatre for an extension beginning September 21, 2012.

FringeNYC Encore Series Begins Today

Now in its 7th year, the FringeNYC Encore Series gives theatre lovers another chance at seeing some of the most critically acclaimed and most crowd-pleasing shows from the Festival. Beginning September 7th, the FringeNYC Encore Series will present 19 'Best of The Festival' shows in rotating repertory at SoHo Playhouse and The Huron Club (both located at 15 Vandam Street between 6th Avenue & Varick) as well as at The Players Theater (115 MacDougal Street between Bleecker and Houston Streets). Gay Camp is directed by Arizona native Phillip Fazio.

Comedic actors Christian Mansfield (Broadway Bares, National Tour of 42nd Street), Ken Urso, and Philip Mutz (also co-author) will open Gay Camp on August 11th to a sold-out audience. Gay Camp is part of this year's New York International Fringe Festival and runs from August 11 - August 22. The production is directed by Arizona-native Phillip Fazio, best known for his regional work in Phoenix, Boston, and L.A.

MITF Announces Complete List of 2008 Award Winners

The 2nd Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) Awards were held Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Bleecker Street Theatre, located at 45 Bleecker Street, winners were announced in 33 separate categories.

Midtown International Theater Festival Award Nominees Announced

On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.
