Breaking News: LIVING ON LOVE to Close on Broadway This Weekend

The new screwball comedy Living on Love, is the season's first post-Tony nomination closing announcement after receiving no nominations this morning. The show  will play its final performance on Broadway this Sunday, May 3, 2015 after 21 previews and 16 regular performances at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street, NYC). Living on Love is written by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

Though the new screwball Broadway comedy Living on Love begins performances on April Fools' Day, it's no joke that the play's producers are offering $19.57 tickets, including a LIMITED number of orchestra and mezzanine seats, at the first three performances only, April 1 through April 3. The special ticket price is a nod to the setting for the play - the glamorous world of New York City in 1957 when music, culture, & style reigned supreme.

Longtime songwriting team MARCY HEISLER (Author/Lyricist) and ZINA GOLDRICH (Composer) are set to make their 2014 Broadway debut with EVER AFTER, directed by Kathleen Marshall and produced by Kevin McCollum, Scott Landis and Philip Morgaman. They were the first women ever honored with the Fred Ebb Award for Musical Theatre Songwriting, and Heisler was awarded the 2012 Kleban Prize for Outstanding Lyrics.

Producers Scott Landis and Philip Morgaman have announced that EVER AFTER, a new musical based on the 20th Century Fox Film, will open on Broadway in the 2013-2014 season following a pre-Broadway engagement to be announced. The production will be directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. EVER AFTER features music by Zina Goldrich and book & lyrics by Marcy Heisler, who recently won the 2012 Kleban Prize for Musical Theatre for most promising musical theatre lyricist. The music director is Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
