This spring, the students in Site-Specific Directing at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) have staged theatre all over New York City: from Shakespeare in Central Park and on the High Line to Chekhov in the Russian and Turkish Baths to Sarah Kane on rooftops, libraries, and street corners. The Guthrie announced that Rob Melrose will direct David Marshall Grant's Pen. A sly, perceptive new play about finding love, losing control and making the ultimate sacrifice, Pen begins previews November 3 and runs through November 25 in the Dowling Studio.
