BEYOND THE BEEHIVE Returns To Bridge Street Live, 5/4

Rock and Roll icon Ronnie Spector has announced the return of her production 'Beyond The Beehive' to Bridge Street Live in Collinsville, CT on May 4th. The theatrical production depicting her life story in monologue, images and song was met with overwhelming critical acclaim in its initial New York City run last year. The latest version of Ronnie's multi-media production chronicles her fascinating 50-year journey through Rock and Roll with stories, video and still images, as well as upwards of fifteen live songs backed by her full band. Tickets for 'Beyond The Beehive' are available at Bridge Street Live box office, online at www.41bridgestreet.com and by phone at 860 693-9762.

Bette Midler Reveals Plans to Make Girl Group Tribute Album

Bette Midler is official back on Broadway as of last night, and she recently revealed that she's already eyeing up her next project. According to Showbiz411, Midler is looking into making a new album that will tribute vintage girl groups, such as the Crystals and the Chiffons. It will also include 'some Phil Spector-like Christmas songs with notable back up singers and stars like Darlene Love and others from the current documentary "Twenty Five Feet from Stardom."'

THE GONG SHOW LIVE Comes to The Cutting Room, 5/2-10/3

The RadioChick, in association with Sony Television Pictures, presents THE GONG SHOW LIVE, the greatest show in human history brought to life onstage for the first time on earth. The pre-off-Broadway-tryout-six-month-event will run May 2 - October 3 at The Cutting Room in New York City.

Eiteljorg Museum Opens One-of-a-Kind Guitar Exhibit

More than 130 guitars-owned by greats including Roy Rogers, Charlie Christian, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Woody Guthrie, Buddy Holly, Les Paul and others-will be displayed together for the first time ever, when Guitars! Roundups to Rockers, presented by Eli Lilly & Company, opens at The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art on Saturday, March 9. The exhibit explores the Western connections of guitars and artists who have provided the soundtrack for America. The experience, including interactive content, is guaranteed to appeal to guitar gearheads, musicians and everyday music lovers of genres from Western swing to wailing rock, thrashing punk to bouncing jazz.

LUCKY GUY Box Office Opens Tomorrow, Jan 25

The Broadhurst Theatre box office opens tomorrow, Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM for LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, in the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. The Broadhurst Theatre is located at 235 West 44th Street. The production will play a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is Monday, April 1. Previews begin Friday, March 1.
