A flurry of fun is in the forecast for Waterbury when the Palace Theater presents five performances of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the acclaimed stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, Nov. 6-8, 2015. The Palace Theater will serve as the first stop on the production's National Tour, which will be traveling Knoxville, Newport, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Providence, Rochester and Schenectady during the 2015 holiday season.

Already on the Madison, Mississippi native's burgeoning resume, you'll find such disparate roles as Montparnasse in Les Miserables, Benjamin in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Dean Hyde in All Shook Up.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented Tony Yazbeck, the star of this season's On The Town revival in his Birdland solo debut on last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Yazbeck heated up the Birdland stage in The Floor Above Me, a thrilling evening of tenor melodies and tenacious tap dancing, and will be joined by On The Town co-star Clyde Alves and tap dance sensation Melinda Sullivan ('So You Think You Can Dance,' 'Glee'). Musical direction and arrangements will be by Jerome Korman, and the evening is co-written and co-directed by Howard Emanuel & Tony Yazbeck.
