Incognito, the American premiere of the new play written by Nick Payne (Constellations) and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (The Father, Doubt, Outside Mullingar), is currently in previews and will open on Tuesday, May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). 

Charlie Cox, Heather Lind, Geneva Carr, and Morgan Spector will soon star in Nick Payne's new play INCOGNITO at Manhattan Theatre Club. Tony winner Doug Hughes (THE FATHER, DOUBT, OUTSIDE MULLINGAR) will take the helm. INCOGNITO will begin its limited run on Tuesday, May 3 ahead of an official opening night of May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) just announced that Charlie Cox (Netflix's "Daredevil," "Boardwalk Empire," Stardust) and Heather Lind (AMC's "Turn: Washington's Spies,"Demolition, Of Good Stock at MTC) have joined the cast of Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of Incognito, the new play written by Nick Payne (Constellations) and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes(The Father, Doubt, Outside Mullingar).

On November 2, the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) celebrated the 2014-2015 season's Joe A. Callaway Award winners for Direction and Choreography.

I was pleased to see many familiar faces last Wednesday at the Alley Theatre's performance of ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS. It helped set the tone for the comedic and interactive performance that seemed to ask us to leave any egos at the door, relax, and sit back for a night of farcical storytelling and crass side-splitting humor. The show absolutely delivered.

'Desire' directed by Michael Wilson will be performed at 59E59 Theaters through October 10th. Six plays based on the short stories of Tennessee Williams are wonderfully adapted and feature outstanding performances by The Acting Company.

One Man, Two Guvnors begins the Alley Theatre's 2015-2016 season in the newly renovated Hubbard Theatre on October 2, 2015. Winner of the Critics Circle Award and multiple Tony and Drama Desk Awards, this glorious comedy is a unique laugh-out-loud mix of satire, songs, and stupendous physical comedy. One Man, Two Guvnors, by Richard Bean is based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni with songs by Grant Olding and directed by Gregory Boyd. Previews begin October 2, Opening Night October 7, with performances continuing through November 1, 2015.

One of the capital's most beloved annual traditions, the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) Free For All, and one of William Shakespeare's most beloved plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream, are coming together for a major milestone: Free For All's 25th anniversary. Ethan McSweeny directs a revival of his 2012-2013 STC production, which will run September 1-13 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

59E59 Theaters will welcome The Acting Company to the 2015/2016 5A Season with the US premiere of DESIRE An Evening of Plays Based on Six Stories by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Michael Wilson, DESIRE features new plays written by John Guare, Beth Henley, Marcus Gardley, Rebecca Gilman, David Grimm and Elizabeth Egloff. DESIRE begins performances on Wednesday, September 2 for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 11. Opening Night is Thursday, September 10 at 7 PM.
