The redevelopment of Liverpool's Everyman Theatre on Hope Street has reached a pivotal milestone as Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson joined theatre chiefs, funders, builders Gilbert Ash and architects Haworth Tompkins today to celebrate the Topping Out of the new building. OSF Opens 2013 Season on February 22

The Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival's 2013 preview performances begin February 15, and the season will open Friday night, February 22 with Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, directed by David Ivers. On Saturday, August Wilson's Two Trains Running, directed by Lou Bellamy, takes the stage, as does Lerner and Loewe's classic American musical My Fair Lady, directed by Amanda Dehnert. Sunday afternoon in the Thomas Theatre, Shakespeare's King Lear opens, directed by OSF Artistic Director Bill Rauch.

Martin Sheen, along with Ellie Dehn, Jearlyn Steele, Jevetta Steele and Sara Watkins, will be among the special guests performing on A Prairie Home Companion, hosted by Garrison Keillor at the Hollywood Bowl tonight, July 13. The long-running, live radio show, based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is now touring, and the Hollywood Bowl will be the last stop on the tour, concluding the show's 38th season.
