Nina Foch, Actress, Renowned Coach and Directing Teacher, Dead at 84

The Los Angeles Times has reported that Nina Foch, a veteran actress from Hollywood's film noir era of the 1940s who became a widely respected acting coach and teacher of directors, died Friday at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. She was 84. The cause was complications of long-term myelodysplasia, a blood disorder, according to her son, Dr. Dirk De Brito.

Northlight Theatre Presents 'Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde'

Northlight Theatre opens its 2008-2009 Season with the Chicago Premiere of Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, in a fresh adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher, directed by Jessica Thebus. The production runs September 17-October 26, 2008, at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.

In addition to its 24 full productions, dance series, developmental series and concerts, The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) celebrates its fifth year by partnering with Ailey Citigroup Theater, Nuyorican Poets Café, The Philip Coltoff Greenwich Village Center, The Loft at Professor Thom's, The Cutting Room, and Paley Center (formally The Museum of Television & Radio) to bring more diverse special events to this years Festival, running September 15th to October 5th.

van Straaten Entertainment, inc. is pleased to announce the extension of What's My Line? - Live On Stage through May 26th. The show is a live, non-broadcast stage presentation of the popular game show that ran on American television for over 25 years.
