The entire cast of the Huntington Theatre Company's production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC will perform the National Anthem tonight, September 25, 2015, at Fenway Park before the televised Red Sox versus Orioles game at 7:10pm. Old Town Trolley will transport the cast from Fenway Park to the BU Theatre immediately following the Anthem for the evening's 8pm performance.

The Huntington Theatre Company will present the world premiere of CHOICE by award-winning playwright Winnie Holzman and directed by Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall on Broadway). Performances begin Friday, October 16 and continue through November 15, 2015 at the South End / Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.

In conjunction with its upcoming production of A Little Night Music, the Huntington Theatre Company will host a number of special events and post-show conversations. Single tickets to A Little Night Music and A Confederacy of Dunces are on sale now. The upcoming season features four world premieres, Stephen Sondheim's most popular musical, a Pulitzer Prize winner, and August Wilson's powerful memoir, with performances by award-winning Boston favorites and international theatre artists.

Huntington Theatre Company, the 2013 recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award and Boston magazine's Best Theatre of 2013 and 2014, announced today the world premiere production of A Confederacy of Dunces, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by John Kennedy Toole, directed by David Esbjornson (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and All My Sons) and featuring Nick Offerman of NBC's 'Parks and Recreation.' Performances will run November 11 - December 13, 2015 at the Huntington's mainstage, the BU Theatre.

The American Playwriting Foundation, established to make annual grants to new American plays, announced today The Relentless Award, the largest annual cash prize in American theater awarded to a playwright in recognition of a new play. Established in honor of Philip Seymour Hoffman and his pursuit of truth in the theater, The Relentless Award will honor an unproduced play with $45,000, laying the groundwork for the future of American Theater. The American Playwriting Foundation is now open for submissions, and the deadline is July 10, 2015. Three finalists and one winner will be announced on October 2, 2015.
