The Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere of CAN YOU FORGIVE HER? by two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Gina Gionfriddo (Becky Shaw and Rapture, Blister, Burn) and directed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois (A Little Night Music and Smart People). Performances begin Friday, March 25 and continue through April 24, 2016 at the South End / Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. 

Staceyanne Burrell of Boston Arts Academy took first place on Monday, February 1, 2016 with her performance as Tonya from King Hedley II at the Boston Regional Finals of the August Wilson Monologue Competition, held for the sixth year by the Huntington Theatre Company, the playwright's longtime artistic home. 

The Huntington Theatre Company will present the powerful memoir August Wilson's How I Learned What I Learned, co-conceived and directed by Todd Kreidler (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner adapter at the Huntington) and featuring Eugene Lee (Radio Golf, Gem of the Ocean, and The Piano Lesson at the Huntington), both longtime Wilson collaborators. On Tuesday, the Huntington Theatre Company's production of A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES became the second highest-grossing show in the company's 33-year history, behind their 2013 hit production of THE JUNGLE BOOK.

The Huntington Theatre Company presents a special free screening of the pilot episode of MY SO-CALLED LIFE in the Wimberly Theatre at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA tonight, October 1 at 7:30pm. The evening will include a post-screening discussion with MY SO-CALLED LIFE creator and CHOICE playwright Winnie Holzman and WBUR's Robin Young, co-host of the nationally-broadcast HERE AND NOW.

The genius of Stephen Sondheim is on display in Huntington Theatre Company's production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, and Artistic Director Peter DuBois casts a vast array of local actors with a few Broadway veterans for a luminous spectacle. Lavish costumes and lush orchestrations counter a minimalist scenic design, and the singing and acting do justice to one of Sondheim's masterworks.
