The Manhattan Association of Clubs & Cabarets (MAC) and The Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program (GMTWP) at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts present Songs for Cabaret Artists on March 3rd from 1-3 pm.

Libra Theater Company will present Songs You Should Know, a concert of new and rarely performed songs by some of today's most prolific music theater writers. Hosted by Jeremy Morse (Drama Desk nominee, Bloodsong of Love) and Jennifer Ashley Tepper (If It Only Even Runs a Minute), Songs You Should Know includes new work from Brad Alexander Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Joshua H. Cohen and Lavell Blackwell, Bobby Cronin, Adam Gwon, Caleb Hoyer, Joe Iconis, Russ Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth, Pete Mills, and Will Reynolds. The concert will feature performances by Anne Bobby, Alex Brightman, Sarah Corey, Scott Coulter, Matt Dengler, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, J. Austin Eyer, Melanie Field, Blair Goldberg, Jessica Grove, F. Michael Haynie, Jeremy Jordan, MK Lawson, Kevin Michael Murphy, and Jason "SweetTooth" Williams.

Carner and Gregor are pleased to announce the winners of the BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA III casting contest. Five winners were selected from a number of submissions received from college students around the country.

Carner & Gregor's BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA III is set for July 25th, and they're having a contest to find five college singers to perform in the show.

On Monday September 22, 2008, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host Lisa Kron, announced the 2008 recipients at the Fourth Annual IT Awards Ceremony at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Prospect Theater Company's 10th anniversary concert will be held Sept. 21 at Off-Broadway's 37 Arts. On July 21, 2008, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2008 nominees at a standing-room only event at 'Our Lady of Pompeii' located at 25 Carmine Street. The 2008 Nominees were selected from an adjudication pool of over 3,000 artists. Nominees include 127 individual artists, 47 different productions and 40 theatre companies.
