THE LAST SHIP will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24 at 8 p.m., but fans still have another chance to catch the cast in action. On March 2 (9:30PM) they will reunite at 54 Below for 'Songs in the Quay of Life: THE LAST SHIP Company in Concert.' The original cast and band will celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders.

In 2007, Lindsay Mendez made her Broadway Debut as Jan in a revival of GREASE. She has since returned to Broadway in Sherie Rene Scott's EVERYDAY RAPTURE in 2012, the GODSPELL's revival in 2011, and she is currently starring as Elphaba in WICKED. In addition to these Broadway roles, she got phenomenal reviews as Rose in Off-Broadway's DOGFIGHT at 2nd Stage Theatre Company in 2012. Furthermore, Lindsey Mendez is an accomplished jazz vocalist and has recorded the 13 track THIS TIME with pianist/band leader Marco Paguia. The album lavishly showcases their prowess as performers and their infectious musical chemistry.
On Monday, January 7, songwriting team Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich came together for the 13th Broadway at Birdland 'Marcy & Zina Show' musical extravaganza, co-starring their friends Scott Coulter, David Beach, Jill Abramovitz, Jennifer Jones, Christine Pedi and Noah Galvin. The band included Mike Croiter on drums, Clay Ruede on cello and Pete Donovan on bass.
