People's Light is delighted to announce the headliners for the upcoming world premiere of Lights Out: Nat 'King' Cole by Colman Domingo and Patricia McGregor, slated to open the Theatre's season in October 2017. Emmy-nominated actor Dule Hill (The West Wing) will play Cole, and Broadway regular Daniel J. Watts will appear as Sammy Davis, Jr.

???????From Jazz Noir to Technicolor, jazz vocalist Sylvia Brooks, Tarzana resident, ?reveals a vivid array of new emotional hues on her about to be released third CD, The Arrangement, a beautifully intimate collaboration with the talents of brilliant Los Angeles arrangers. In celebration of the release, Brooks along with her arrangers will perform in concert at Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on Wednesday, June 7 at 8:30 p.m.

This performance celebrates the 100th birthday of Italian-American entertainer Dean Martin. The show, written and performed by Francesca Capetta, features Tony Award-winner Liliane Montevecchi (Broadway: Nine {Tony and Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical}, Grand Hotel {Tony Nomination}, Le Plume de Ma Tante. The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company and Dancap Productions present THE JAZZ SINGER, a new musical adaption of Samson Raphaelson's classic story of a son's struggle between his passion for a Broadway career, and his father's plans to have him follow in his footsteps as a cantor.
